“The stretchy, sock-like top is excellent for keeping sand out. Traction is not great on muddy hikes, but for beach and town wear, they're great. Also, my first pair of shoes had a defect and Vessi customer service was fantastic. I was sent a replacement pair right away.”
“I have been eyeing Vessi shoes for a long time and finally placed an order. I was sooo excited to get my Everyday Moves and had really high hopes. The laces are just for show, the shoes are like putting on socks, they're a bit of a wider shoe than some and a heavier than my last pair of sneakers . When I tried them on, they fit well, snug around the ankle like I expected them to be at first, but a true size 7. The first 5-10 times I wore them I was so worried that I wasn't going to be able to wear them longterm. I didn't know if my feet were just not a good fit or extra sensitive or something. I had blisters on my ankles, I had to wear bandaids, the bottom of my feet bothered me, the part I slipped my feet into was still too tight, my no-show ankle socks were driving me crazy slipping down, I even had to give my feet a break and wear my old sneakers once or twice. And then one day, they were perfect! I don't have any of those problems anymore and I am loving my Vessi shoes! So it took me a while to break them in, but I'm really happy with them now! And testing them out in the sink and then in real puddles and streams is so fun! I felt like a little kid anxiously waiting for a rainy day to test out how waterproof they are. They're great shoes, you might need to break them in, but it's worth it!”
