Hi Anna,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.
I'm sorry to hear you have been experiencing discomfort at the back of your ankles from your shoes. Our ankle opening is a little firm to start, therefore you could experience some discomfort before it stretches out to perfectly accommodate your feet. I would definitely recommend giving your feet time to heal before giving your shoes a try again. Here are a few tips that can help once you start wearing your shoes again.
Wearing thicker socks that provide extra cushioning on that area will give the shoes time to adjust to your foot. Adding something to cover up that area will allow the shoes to adjust to your foot so they can fit you perfectly. Finally, another thing you can try doing is to insert a pair of heel liners into your Vessis for more cushioning. Heel stickers from Dr. Scholls can work really well too.
I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our Product team, as we are always looking to improve. We'll use your insight towards our research and development for our future design improvements.
That said, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Care team at support@vessi.com and one of our Customer Care Agents will be happy to look into this further and see what we can do to help.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on your Vessis with us.
“I bought these to wear for my care aide job since my feet get wet when helping with showers, and I can say that these are truly waterproof. They are comfortable but the only downside is that the back digs into my heel a bit so I have to wear higher socks than I usually do. Overall great shoes!”
