“I actually bought these for my step daughter who lives in Seattle. I bought the Men's version of these shoes for myself as I have a wide foot. I wore those and women's stormfronts on my trip to Scotland and Ireland. I also bought my husband everyday moves and stormfronts for our trip. They were absolutely wonderful. We hiked or walked everyday for a month in either pouring rain or on and off rain. The shoes performed perfectly for me. My husband had one day where his feet were damp at the end of the day in his moves. I also wore my moves and my feet were dry so not sure what happened that day. The stormfronts are incredible to hike in and gave us all the traction we needed in the wet conditions. We wore the moves on days that we were on more level ground.”
“So far so good. I have only worn them a couple of times and they’re cutting into the backs of my heels but likely just need to break them in a little bit. I have a narrow foot so it would be nice if I could tighten the laces more but it doesn’t really allow me to do so. Hopefully once I wear them a few more times this will correct itself.”
“Overall I love this shoe! Had a chance to really test them out in the rain this week. I walk 2-3miles a day in all weathers, so that why I bought them. Plus they keep my feet warm! They are not as comfortable as I hoped, my feet have taken a while to get used to them, but the more I wear them they better they feel. But overall they are lightweight and keep my feet dry and warm.”
“I usually wear a 9.5 in FreshFoam by New Balance and in Mach 5 by Hoka. These fit great. They didn't flop or pull on my heels. They were snug around my ankle and that took some getting used to but I didn't get any blisters. They were waterproof as they claim and I could wear them all day without problems. In my picture, you can see I wore them to the top of Arthur's seat in Scotland without any problems. That was on the last day of an 8 day trip in the UK and I wore these shoes every single day.”
“The shoes look great and they serve the main purpose for me buying them in the first place, which is keeping my feet dry in wet conditions. They are not the most comfortable compared to the big brand sporting footwear, but this wasn’t the main purpose for buying them. If they improved the comfort level and breathability id give them 5 stars.”
“I have a long, narrow foot and bought 1/2 size bigger. They fit well and are definitely waterproof. At the heal, 2 different fabrics join which caused me to develop a blister. Once i put in an insole, it lifted my heal up enough to get rid of the irritation.”
“I hope you will expand the line to include wide shoes. I love Vessis, just wish they were not at tight. As a nurse, working 12 hour shifts, I need a comfortable shoe.”
