“We live in the Southern Appalachian mountains, where it pretty much rains everyday. I got these to be able to hang out at my kid's soccer games on the wet fields, and they definitely handled the pressure of several hours of swamp grass. They're now officially my go-to shoe for all errands. The only place where they haven't been a good choice: I wore them on a very low-key hiking trail, and walking down a hill was pretty uncomfortable in the toe box. Lesson learned: they're not designed for that kind of wear, simply because they fit like a sock more than a shoe. It's not affecting my rating, though, because they weren't designed for that; I just thought it was worth mentioning. They're an awesome shoe. Bought my husband a matching pair.”
“First pair I have bought. They fit pretty well but the back of the shoe does dig in a little above my heel, but not enough to the point of being uncomfortable and I can't wear them, maybe I just need to try different socks. Looking forward to my next purchase.”
“I have a really thin foot, but it's normal width. Getting my foot into the shoe takes some good tugging - not a problem for me, but your foot is more fleshed out than mine, you might be surprised at how much tugging it takes to get your foot in there. THere's not a separate tongue, so you can't open the shoe any just for that part of getting your foot. We've not had rain since I bought them, so I can't attest yet to the waterproof qualities which is why I bought them.”
