“The fit is perfect, but the website said to size up, which was absolutely wrong in my case. So I sized down and it is the right fit now. These are so comfortable and supportive. They're really great for long walks. I love the freedom of stepping in puddles and not soaking my feet. Plus they look awesome! Love the colour.”
“The mouth of the shoe is very tight, and not something I was really expecting, although I understand how this would help with keeping water out. This also complicated sizing for me; I normally wear a 7.5/8, so got the 8, and it fits fine if I don't wear socks. With socks, I can't get my foot into the shoe due to the tightness of the opening; I'd really need to size up probably to a 9.”

We’re sorry to hear you’re finding your Vessis difficult to get on. For some reference, however, it’s actually quite normal for the ankle opening to be a little snug to start. Over the first few wears of your new shoes, you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate your foot shape. By starting tighter, this allows the shoe to mold to your ankle shape - making sure no water seeps in through the ankle opening.
Some customers use a shoehorn in the meantime, which should help. You can also speed up the stretching process by leaving a few pairs of thick socks balled up inside the shoes overnight.
