“Sure enough, these are lightweight and 100% waterproof. I live in western Washington and despise wet socks so waterproof shoes are a must for this time of year. I do wish there was a bit more cushion inside the shoe, but that's nothing an insert can't fix. Overall, I love the color, I love the style, and these were absolutely worth the money.”
“What I love:
- easy to put on and take off the shoes
- it’s actually waterproof (amazing!)
- aesthetically fantastic
- size is an absolutely perfect fit
- very comfortable to wear
What I don’t like:
- shoelaces get undone much more easily than conventional shoes (even if I double knot it, it will slowly get undone over time)
- not suitable for sports due to lack of appropriate cushion, but it’s fine for just walking in everyday use
Conclusion: A worthwhile purchase, especially if you live in an area with frequent rain or you have to walk on roads with many water puddles. Just make sure to extra-secure the shoelaces and don’t expect it to be suitable for physical activity such as running/jumping/dancing.”
“I initially ordered a size 9 because I can wear either an 8 or 85. Those shoes were HUGE so I exchanged them, which was a simple process. I've only had the size 8 Vessi's about 1 week and have worn them a few times while walking my dog in the mornings. It's great not getting my feet wet as I walk in the damp grass. My only complaint is that they get untied quickly so I always have to double-tie them.
So far, so good!”
“I purchased these for my Europe trip which was perfect because it was rainy throughout lots of points during my trip. I wore them for 17 days and the waterproof aspect worked well (jumped through puddles and dealt with rain with no problem) and they were comfortable to walk in Ireland, Scotland and England, but I did notice once we got to England that there was a portion on my left shoe where the ball of my foot lands that was wearing and creating a divot in the fabric that was giving me a blister. I’m surprised that already happened after 12 days. You’d think after purchasing these, they would’ve have worn down like that already…”
