We’re sorry to hear your Vessis are too narrow and hard to clean. The material works similar to how socks fit, in the sense that it adapts to your foot shape. The more you wear them, the more it gives and stretches to mold to you. Therefore, it’s actually quite normal for your Vessis to be a little snug to start. Some customers use a shoehorn in the meantime, which should help. You can also speed up the stretching process by leaving a few pairs of thick socks balled up inside the shoes overnight.
We'd be happy to share some cleaning tips! We find that the key is to clean our shoes sooner rather than later. The quicker you can rinse off dirt, the easier it will be to keep them nice and clean. We recommend using a sponge or light coloured cloth made with natural fibers, baking soda, and vinegar for the best results.
