“I'll admit I was skeptical of what was being advertised, but the shoes really surprised me with their waterproof capabilities. I wore these shoes for a week straight as I walked through countless miles in the Orlando theme parks. It rained every day of my travels and I was continually surprised with how well these shoes kept water out. I got caught in the rain, stepped in puddles, and even stood in some standing water and the shoes remained waterproof as advertised. My socks were indeed dry! On top of that they still look really good after having survived a lot of walking through rain, mud, and dirt. More than any regular sneakers would through the same conditions. I was also concerned about the fit at first; I normally wear a size 10.5 and they recommended I get a size 10. I hoped they wouldn't be too tight but they fit really comfortably because of their stretchy fabric. They felt great and I didn't feel too constricted by the size. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is because I feel for the price the shoes could have been slightly more comfortable. They were comfortable enough to wear for a week straight, but I yearned for my more capable (though less waterproof) sneakers with better insoles. I might just get a more cushioned insole from a third party, but overall I was very happy with my purchase and I couldn't stop showing off the waterproof capabilities to my friends.”
