“I work 12.5 hour days at the hospital on cement floors. I’ve only had a chance to wear them once so I’d like to have more time wearing them before I made a full decision about them. I found that the shoes have a narrow toe box so wearing them was making my wider food numb. I also noticed that there isn’t much cushion when walking. It almost felt like I was walking on a flip flop sandal.”
Hi Christy,
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We’re sorry to hear your Vessis are too narrow. The material works similar to how socks fit, in the sense that it adapts to your foot shape. The more you wear them, the more it gives and stretches to mold to you. Therefore, it’s actually quite normal for your Vessis to be a little snug to start. Some customers have had success in speeding up the stretching process by leaving balled up socks in their shoes overnight.
As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support. Some people love this, while others find it doesn’t work well for them. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for a more customized fit and comfort.
That said, I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our Product team, as we are always looking to improve.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on your Vessis with us.
“The ONLY reason I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 is because the last two pairs I’ve had have sprung a leak around their year mark. The water proof cloth and water proof rubber separate at the seem for some reason, but every time I have raise my concerns with Vessi they have sent me a new pair. When they work, my goodness do they work. My feet are dry and stylish. The sleek deep black on black goes with everything and can even class-up an outfit. I love this company so much and will continue to support them!”
