“I got my usual size and they did feel snug but eased out after a break-in period of a few hours. They are waterproof so far. Waiting to see how waterproof they'll still be a few months from now this being early in the Winter season soon to be followed by a rainy slushy Spring. The only thing is that I find the toe box still tight even after break in because the design is too pointy. Hope this doesn't give me problems down the line because I suffer from an ingrown toenail from wearing pointy shoes in the past. I am a nurse but would not wear these for work even if they are comfortable because the toe box is too tight. Perfect for weekends, though!”
“These shoes are everything the company said they would be and the sizing recommendations provided during the ordering process were spot on. They are as comfortable as a pair of socks and totally waterproof.”
“I walk the dogs 3-4x per day and was tired of having wet feet. I had tried the short rubber boots, but they are not good when walking kms each day. Pretty much every female walking their dog in the park had Vessi and swore by them. So I got in line at the store and waited to try on all the styles to see what felt the best. I love that I can slip these on. And for the first time in months, I have dry feet when I walk. I really got to test out how waterproof they were within 10 min of putting them on for the first time. Only a few blocks from home and stepped in some dog poo. Went into the wet grass first to scrape it off and then into a puddle to wash the rest off. I was angry at the lazy owner, but I had dry feet still.”
Hi Shahid,
We greatly appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback.
We apologize for any inconvenience you've faced regarding the break-in process of your Vessis. Our ankle opening is a little firm to start, therefore you could experience some discomfort before it stretches out to perfectly accommodate your feet. I would definitely recommend giving your feet time to heal before giving your shoes a try again. Here are a few tips that can help once you start wearing your shoes again.
Wearing thicker socks that provide extra cushioning on that area will give the shoes time to adjust to your foot. Adding something to cover up that area will allow the shoes to adjust to your foot so they can fit you perfectly. Finally, another thing you can try doing is to insert a pair of heel liners into your Vessis for more cushioning. Heel stickers from Dr. Scholls can work really well too.
We’ll certainly share your thoughts with the rest of the team as we feel it is important to take into consideration all of the feedback we receive from our customers.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on your Vessis with us.

“Excellent pair of waterproof shoes. Comfortable and great for rainy days when I don't want to wear boots. Not sure how the waterproof element will hold up long term but working well so far.”
“Used these while walking the dog through wet grass and on a wet path, they kept my feet cozy and dry. I was so impressed. I didn't need to break them in at all, they were amazingly comfortable. I did size down and I am glad I did as the fit was prefect.”
