“I am so impressed with Vessi and their customer service. I bought these and took them on a trip only to have gotten blisters on my heels after day 1 walking for a couple hours. It seems like there wasn't enough padding where the elastic attaches to the inside of the shoe. Anyways, I contacted customer service and filled out the required form. I heard back within an hour that they would send me a new pair. If I didn't like my new pair, I would be refunded. Plus, no need to send back my defective pair. There was no fuss, no "pleading my case". It was straight forward and simple. I have received my new pair and I absolutely love them. I will be purchasing a pair for my husband for our upcoming trip to Italy. Thank you Vessi for providing an positive experience. It is so hard to find this level of customer care these days and it is greatly appreciated.”
“I was expecting a bit more cushion in the sole. The style is wonderful. I’ve gotten tons of complements. But the top back of the shoe does rub into my Achilles and chafes if I don’t wear high enough socks :(
I really wanted this shoe to be as cushy as it looks good. Love that they are waterproof though. But does get a bit hot while walking (and I have cold feet a lot).”

We're happy to hear you've been loving your Vessis so far and are getting compliments while wearing them out and about! That being said we're also so sorry you've been experiencing discomfort from your shoes, we can imagine how disappointing that must be.
As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support. Some people love this, while others find it doesn’t work well for them. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for a more customized fit and comfort. As for the rubbing you are experiencing, its actually quite normal for your Vessis to be a little firm to start but they will start to loosen with wear. You can always try inserting a pair of balled up socks inside the shoe to help speed up the stretching process. Heel grips are also a great option to protect your foot as they adjust to the shoes.
