“I overall enjoy vessi shoes and was excited for this pair but the tongue at the back of the shoe is horribly uncomfortable. I could tell if I were to wear this shoe out and go a block, I will blister at the back of my ankle/heel. Disclaimer, I do have a narrow foot so this design may not account for these type of feet. Its a shame because otherwise the rest of the shoe has this wonderful sock like design for comfort.”

It's understandable that finding the perfect fit can take some time, and we hope that as you continue to wear them, they will become more comfortable and stretch to accommodate your foot shape. By starting tighter, this allows the shoe to mold to your ankle shape - making sure no water seeps in through the ankle opening. It's quite common for Vessis to feel snug initially.
To help during this period, some customers find using a shoehorn to put on the shoes helpful. Additionally, you can accelerate the stretching process by placing a few pairs of thick socks inside the shoes overnight, which should aid in expanding their shape.

“I have an old pair of black Vessi slip-on shoes. They are size 7 and a wee bit snug. Seeing the green slip-ons, I just had to get them and figured that I should get size 8. I love the green slip-ons, but they are too big. I didn’t want to return them, so I put thick inserts into them, and now they are perfect. They are very comfortable and lightweight. I don’t slip on wet surfaces. Excellent! Love the green!”
