“Finally had a rainy day! Yes I do like them, yes the shoes feel very dry (it was light rain so I can't tell how great the waterproofness is, but it seems excellent), and yes they are lightweight. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. The best thing about them is how comfortable they are. The SA with whom I chatted online recommended me to go for a pair of men's size 6, because I told her I usually have to buy a women's size 7 even though I'm actually a 6 (extra)-wide. Men's size 6 is ever-so-slightly big for my feet, but I can wear them with thick socks and they're SO comfortable for my wide feet! (So if you have narrow feet these are NOT for you. These are wide like Birkenstocks.) I've read some reviews complaining that the ankle part is too tight, and I can see that - they're not too tight for me, but I'd describe them as "snug". So if you have wide ankles, I wouldn't recommend them, as they might be uncomfortable.
One thing I don't enjoy particularly is the sensation when I walk on the street - the shoes feel like there's extra air trapped in the soles, as if they weren't glued well, or as if they were a pair of rainboots (but I guess they are quite literally like rain boots). It's possible that I got a slightly defective pair, but this issue doesn't affect how I walk, so it's probably not worth returning them. Not a huge deal - these are very good, practical shoes I can wear in the rain, which is exciting. Just not spectacular.”
