Hi Victor,
It’s normal for the ankle opening to be a little firm to start! Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. This creates that snug, sock like fit that we are loved for!
Not to worry, after a few more wears the ankle opening will have loosened up to become the perfect fit for your feet. We recommend a shoehorn in the meantime! Glad you love them!
“Ever since I bought the shoes, I’ve been wearing them every day! They are quite comfortable but I haven’t had a chance to test how waterproof they are, not that I really want to try testing them. Overall, these are possibly the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever bought.”
“Overall, these are going to my new sneakers. I usually wear punk style attire, so converse are usually more my style but these shoes are my go-to for shorts, rainy days, and casual running. Don't have many compaints thus far. One thing to note is that my feet are narrow. So, results may vary for other people my size.”
“I was interested in these shoes cause I work at Starbucks and I saw the add were they poured coffee onto a Vessi shoe. Naturally I’d like some comfortable coffee proof shoes and these do not disappoint. Delivery was quick to they came in, in 6 days. My only critique would be that the insole pad comes out of the shoe.”
