Hi Kyla,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.
I'm sorry to hear you have been experiencing discomfort at the back of your ankles from your shoes. Our ankle opening is a little firm to start, therefore you could experience some discomfort before it stretches out to perfectly accommodate your feet. I would definitely recommend giving your feet time to heal before giving your shoes a try again. Here are a few tips that can help once you start wearing your shoes again.
Wearing thicker socks that provide extra cushioning on that area will give the shoes time to adjust to your foot. Adding something to cover up that area will allow the shoes to adjust to your foot so they can fit you perfectly. Finally, another thing you can try doing is to insert a pair of heel liners into your Vessis for more cushioning. Heel stickers from Dr. Scholls can work really well too.
That said, I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our Product team, as we are always looking to improve. We'll use your insight towards our research and development for our future design improvements.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on your Vessis with us.
“The shoe is perfect for what I was looking for. A water resistant black sneaker that didn’t look too athletic, and warmer than a typical sneaker.
The only downside is that I’m an 8-1/2, so I bought up a size to 9, and now they are too big.”
“I've been eyeing this brand for a while and finally but the bullet. Only worn them a few times so far, but you can feel and see the quality. I will be a long time customer!!”
