“The narrow fit is great as my feet don't slide around and I can wear them with my orthotics. I have yet to wear them in the dragonboat but the waterproofness seems to work well in the rain so far. A bonus is that since they're totally black, I've been able to wear them with my black dress pants to work too.”
“Love the look, got them for work so they’re more slick than the weekenders. The sizing is not like the other styles- I ordered my weekender size and it was too big, sized down and it’s quite tight but length wise is right. It’s taken a while to break them in (still working on it, getting pressure on back) hoping they soften a bit more soon!
A half size in these ones may be helpful.”

It's understandable that finding the perfect fit can take some time, and we hope that as you continue to wear them, they will become more comfortable and stretch to accommodate your foot shape. By starting tighter, this allows the shoe to mold to your ankle shape - making sure no water seeps in through the ankle opening. It's quite common for Vessis to feel snug initially.
To help during this period, some customers find using a shoehorn to put on the shoes helpful. Additionally, you can accelerate the stretching process by placing a few pairs of thick socks inside the shoes overnight, which should aid in expanding their shape.

“Just got these a few days ago, they were described as slim fitting, as this something I always look for. I wore them the first day to work and found them to be rather loose fitting’ wore them the second day with an extra pair of socks, still didn’t feel comfortable, wore them the third day with one pair of socks and they were perfect. Just needed a little breaking in period. Really pleased with them.”
“I bought these ones because they had the best design but wow they make my toes hurts. By the end of the day my feet are sore. I’ll most likely give these away. Sizing up wouldn’t help either because 8 is too big. I really think Vessi’s should consider half sizes.”
