“Vessi is fantastic! It rained the day before yesterday so I finally got a chance to test out their waterproof feature. I stood in a puddle for a while and didn't get wet at all. They're stretchy and comfortable, and I can quickly get them on and office without needing to mess around with laces.
Room for improvement:
half sizes and wide sizes. Over the last 10 years, fewer and fewer half sizes and wide sizes exist in the world. Sizing up isn't a great solution because then you have way too much toe space. At least Vessi has a pretty good work around for that, because the ones I got (Weekend Chelsea - Asphalt Black) look exactly the same in Men's or Women's, and Men's sizes tend to be a bit wider than women's, so you can just get men's (the number should be your women's size - 2) if you're a woman who needs a wider size.
If you have high arches, you may need to switch out the insole, but I've had to do that with every sneaker I've ever bought, so I don't discredit Vessi for that.
Pleeeeeease make a winter boot! How amazing would this comfort, ease to slip on, waterproofing, plus insulated warmth be? I desperately need to buy Vessi boots before winter comes.”
“If you've ever worn those ubiquitous rubber rain boots these vessi are a whole different universe; stylish (unlike rubber boots) breathable (unlike rubber boots) and comfy (unlike rubber boots) these Chelsea offer the ankle high protection from the elements! Why get anything else? Unless you don't like the colors in which case I hope they make these is more colors!”

“I had read that the mens shoes are wider, so I sized down and ordered these in mens sizing. They are amazing. I sized down two sizes, and I could have just gone down one, but they are still amazing. Quite snug, but they do loosen up after wearing them a little while. I was dog sitting when these came and I wore them every day when taking the dog out. I had no issues with rubbing, they are comfy to walk in and were great in the snow and rain. I thought about giving 4 stars, because the only criticism I have is that I wish there was a bit better grip. There were times when I skidded a little when it was super cold and icy. I love the high top style and will for sure buy more if/when they come out in different colours (I got the black because the grey made me think of an astronaut and the beige just isn't for me). Also, with the black it's a little harder to see the lines on the front. I don't know if that was a purely esthetic detail, or a functional one, but it's not my favourite.
I wear these almost daily, and they are perfect for Vancouver weather.
10/10 will buy again”
