Breathable without being too warm, and comfortable enough to wear walking around all day. And the waterproof claim is completely accurate; for rainy days in Italy, my feet were dry and warm (except one time walking on the beach when high tide got the best of me...) 10/10 would buy again.”

“I have seen Vessi advertisements for years and was curious but never took the plunge. This fall I needed new hiking boots and couldn't find any I liked for a reasonable price and since my greatest concern was waterproof footwear I decided to try Vessi. They did not disappoint. 10k hikes in wet, and even in snow, and my feet were still dry at the end. Even hiking boots start to get soggy after a while and my feet would always sweat. With my Vessi's my feet are safe from outside moisture AND my feet don't sweat! I hope they make a pair with a hiking grip sole eventually but I know that's not what these are technically designed for so I can't fault them for the extra care required on rocks and backwoods terrain. Also, considering they are not specifically designed for that, I did feel that they performed well with some extra caution. They are also the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. Perfect fit from the first time you wear them, no need to break them in or hope they stretch. I loved them so much I bought two more pairs in different styles and will definitely be buying another pair or two of the Chelsea's in different colours. 10/10 would, and have been, recommend(ing)!”
