“Good fit - had an old, different brand, leather Chelsea boot and ordered same size in these, fits well, overall slightly shorter in length than the boots these replaced, less wasted toe box space, which is nice. Just the right amount of wiggle room, and in colder weather with a slightly thicker sock will be great.
Great ankle mobility - I drive a manual transmission car so this is always something I'm wary of with any kind of boot. No issues at all with ankle movement and not clunky on the pedals, while still having firm support for walking.
Great color scheme - hard to find a solid color in this kind of shoe (non-leather) without bright trim or what not these days. Wish more brands had black/black or black/single color options for more shoes.
Weatherproofing - haven't been able to test much other than walking through wet grass and parking lots after heavy rain, will say water beads right up and slides off the shoe, oil residue from the parking lot water also came right off. Feet were warm and dry after all day wear and not sweaty. I live in Michigan and I suspect these will do just fine in the colder Fall and Winter. Won't replace full winter boots due to the shorter ankle (and that's not what they're intended for) but will be great for commuting during rainy days or after snow has already been shoveled/plowed.”
