“I definetely needed waterproof boots for following my three year old around outside in mud season. The water just rolls off, which is pretty cool. They do feel a little less breathable than non-waterproof shoes, but more comfortable than rubber boots and less noticeable. I don't yet know how hot it can get before they get uncomfortable. This black on black style doesn't draw much attention or complements, but having something neutral was kind of the point. I usually wear women's 8.5 and the 9 has plenty of room in the toes, but I don't mind because I can fit wool hiking socks comfortably, which will extend the season. Only thing I might have liked is more grip for ice, I don't have any ice to test on right now.”
“The fact that it's waterproof is absolutely invaluable, and it's comfortable 90% of the time. The protruding seam in the back makes them a little uncomfortable, though”
“Love them except I have to wear higher socks because the loop on the back of them rubs on my skin and irritates it. But also love the loop for getting them on easily”
“I'm stunned by these boots. I still have difficulty wrapping my head around just how waterproof they truly are. I'm a northeast person who experiences wet and cold winters, and for the first time in my time on this planet, my feet are dry and warm. Thanks, Vessi! Also, the Chelsea style looks way better in person - I'm glad I took a chance on them.”
