“I love these boots! I purchase the men's equivalent over the women's line, as I'm typically a half size. If you have the weekends, you'll find this shoe is a looser fit like those (possibly a little more), compared to the tighter city shoes. They are roomy, provide great coverage, and are a good height. I've worn them almost daily for over a week now, and I haven't had any complaints. I bought them specifically for dog walking and muddy visits to the dog park!
With the surprise of extra roominess in the shoe, I expected my feet to not be happy about the extra space to move around, but it actually hasn't been a problem with this shoe (as it has been for me in the past with boots). In 20 degree weather, with a good sock, my feet pleasantly stay warmer than I expected! Some of the city shoes have caused my feet to hurt after long periods of time, but I haven't experienced any discomfort with extended wear. I'm going to look into a good insole to place in these shoes, as I will be wearing them a LOT in my future, especially for walks.
Socks: you'll want to avoid ankle socks for optimal comfort. If you opt to purchase some of the new mid crew socks, they are a perfect match with this shoe! I freakin love those things.
The Chelsea and Weekend sneakers are my two favorite Vessi shoes!
One note for those big on color: the forest green is great, but it might appear more gray than green in some situations.”
