“I recently bought these because I'm tired of house shoes that can't handle small puddles of rain or slush, and simple trips to the gas station because they wear out too quickly.
Not these. The mid and outsoles are thick and seem robust. I would rate the grip as somewhere between great and excellent. These don't have much ankle support, but as a big guy, the insoles are adequately comfortable and I can see myself wearing them for extended periods of time, such as trips or vacations.
I wish there was a little more padding behind the heel, but this is simply a minor critique. The most important thing is that these are comfortable, and just as important, they keep my feet dry.
The asphalt black variant is very stylish, in an understated kind of way. The pictures don't do them justice, and I intend to purchase the other color variants as well.
