I do like these shoes. I do have a problem but something that might only affect me. I have a bone in my left foot that the top of the shoes rub and the area becomes really painful. Hoping overtime that my foot gets used to the left shoe.

We're so sorry to hear you are experiencing discomfort on your left foot! Vessis do tend to stretch a little after wearing them a couple of times, which might help with this. We'd recommend balled-up socks on the left shoe to help, as well as using thick socks 😊

I like the look of these shoes. Wish they came in half sizes. These are tight with socks and only a bit snug without. Info that came with shoes said they would be tight, but would stretch after some wearing. Hope so, I think the next size would be too big. Looking forward to my first puddle.

Love my new Vessi shoes. They are comfortable and provide me with protection from the elements. I can’t go on long walks in rubber boots so these allow me to walk and have dry feet. Customer service was great and helpful when I was trying to decide on sizing and led me in the right direction.

The shoes are comfortable, stylish and the waterproofing has lived up to the hype. I wore these in the, rain, snow and ice and my feet stayed relatively warm and completely dry; I say relatively warm, because the temperature was consistently about -7Β°C or so, I was walking through ankle deep snow and my feet were cool, but not uncomfortably cold, thanks to them remaining completely dry (Vessis breathe, so you don't get sweaty feet, even when they get warm). The grip wasn't amazing on wet, smooth ice, but if you did the penguin walk (toes out, wide stance, slower speed), the grip was adequate and it was very good on snow and textured ice. There is plenty of cushion in the sole and the shoes were easy to get on after a couple wears; you do need to pull them on, as they are not slide ons, especially if you have a wide foot or ankle; that being said I also ordered a pair of the Cityscapes, and I really struggled to even get my foot in them (or even into the opening) at all, while these just required a small tug on the back to get them on. You will need to get one size smaller, as Vessi recommends, as they are quite wide and stretchy; one size down fit my wide foot perfectly in both length and width, without my toes pinching at all. I ended up getting three pairs in three different colours. They seem to wipe clean very easily after walking through a bit of muddy water. I do not normally wear shoes without socks, but I wore these without socks and my feet didn't get sweaty and my shoes didn't smell. :) They look nice, feel like they are made of quality material, and the interior is smooth and soft on bare feet. The laces don't have much function, but do allow for a bit of tightening of the sides. The asphalt black also came with a pair of teal laces, in addition to the black ones. Now for the negatives: If you have ankle problems or need ankle support in your shoes, these may not be for you. For casual wear I found them very comfortable, but for work spending long days on my feet, I got ankle and shin muscle pain if I wore them everyday, as my ankles would roll very easily and I found that my feet turned a bit more than when wearing shoes with more structure in the sides and ankle. That being said, they are still some of the most comfortable shoes I have worn. I found that I have to wear light socks with these because winter socks made my foot too bulky to squeeze into them , but when I wore invisible socks (the ones that don't show when wearing shoes and leave the top of the foot and ankle bare), the top of the shoe pressed the edge of the sock into the top of my foot or compressed my foot and caused severe foot pain. I didn't have this issue when wearing regular socks. These are definitely worth the price, although a sale is what convinced me to buy them.
