“I bought Vessi Weekend shoes last month. It arrived within few days. As they suggested, I bought one size down. I usually wear size 8, but bought size 7. The shoes are tad tight, but I'm hoping I can break them in as I wear them more. I like the quality and the fit so far. Only request if I can suggest, I hope they change the design of back of the shoes. It scratches my ankle when I walk. Overall, it's nice shoes and I am happy with it.”

It's great to hear that you're enjoying your shoes for the most part! The shoes will stretch out a tiny bit after breaking them in so that should help with the sizing.
In regards to the scratching, that should also improve after breaking in your shoes. We would recommend wearing higher socks for the time being.

“I love the weekend shoe. I’m usually a 7.5-8 in shoes and I ordered the 8. They fit more like a 9 but I happened to be at my friends house when I tried them on. She loved them and the 8 fit her. So she bought them off me, I ordered another pair in a 7 and I wake up every day now trying to decide what to wear to my casual office that will go with my Vessis because I want to wear them Every. “Just ordered myself my first pair if Vessi shoes and chose the Weekend. Very comfortable. I am a half size and ordered down as recommended and glad I did. The Weekend seems to fit a little bigger. Came with an extra pair of laces which was a bonus. Love the shoes and the waterproof feature. Feet are dry. No more wet and cold feet.”
