“I bought these shoes because I was going to Niagra Falls and I knew I would be around water all day. These shoes were incredible. It rained on and off all day and my feet NEVER were wet. I had a rain poncho on and the water was running down my back and legs but never made my feet wet. It was like magic. They are so comfortable too! My husband was sure I would come home with blisters but not with these shoes. Best purchase ever!”
“They have a comfortable and stretchy design, but they are too narrow for wide feet, causing some discomfort. The squishy sole provides a soft walking experience, but the durability is uncertain. Surprisingly, the shoes didn't become hot during a few hours of walking in NYC in warm temperatures. However, I experienced soreness in the tips of my toes due to rubbing against the fabric. The overall build quality is satisfactory but not exceptional. These sneakers are suitable for casual walking but not ideal for extended periods or high-end quality.”
“By far the travel shoe I’ve been looking for. From the plane to, (in this case), travel to Ireland, and many wet and rainy days. The shoes kept me dry and comfortable day in and day out. A definite good purchase.”
“I like my new vessis but they are a little snug on the toe. I don't have wide feet or anything and I went up by one size as a half size was my ideal size, but they don't carry half sizes. So I recommend everyone first use their sizing chart and likely go up by one size. Aside from that, the shoes are comfy, slip on easy, and stay cool in the summer. I wear them with and with out socks and appreciate the insoles stay in place when taking them off. I haven't tried out the waterproofness yet but I'm sure they will do fine.”
Hi Steve,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. I'm glad your Vessis are keeping you dry and comfortable!
We’re sorry to hear that you are finding your Vessis a bit snug. The material works similar to how socks fit, in the sense that it adapts to your foot shape. The more you wear them, the more it gives and stretches to mold to you. Therefore, it’s actually quite normal for your Vessis to be a little snug to start. Some customers use a shoehorn in the meantime, which should help. You can also speed up the stretching process by leaving a few pairs of thick socks balled up inside the shoes overnight. That said, I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our Product team, as we are always looking to improve.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on your Vessis with us.
