“First off I love shoes but I have feel like Fred Flintstone. So, comfortable shoes tend to be hard to come by that have style that I like. I must have visited the Vessi site over a dozen times adding to cart, removing from cart. Reading reviews over and over. I just went for it and ordered a pair. Again I have wide feet and base off reviews and style the “Weekend” was my choice. I was happily surprise with the fit and that I can wear them all day, 15 hours straight and didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. Highly recommend, I plan to get more in other colors. They are perfect for my business casual everyday wear! Don’t sleep on these, get a pair!”
“Heard of Vessi from a friend and he raved about them. I was a bit hesitant with the original styles, but now that there is several different ones to pick from and the rainy season was about to start I took the, ah, plunge!
Couldn't be happier with the look, fit and comfort.”
We're so glad that you're Vessi's fits you comfortably! Thank you so much for your purchase and for your feedback! Have an awesome time with your waterproof sneakers!
“After a month of wearing these, and having some pretty heavy use days walking around my city, I have to say these are some of the most comfortable shoes I've owned. There is a break-in period where they fit pretty snug at first. They are really great for long walks, I've never had any foot pain even on the longest days. The waterproofing works quite well and came in handy a couple times, but it's a little on the gimmicky side for me and not why I bought these.
Now, despite how fantastic these are, they aren't without flaws. The most notable is that there is pretty poor lateral support. If you're walking across a slanted surface, the sidewalls don't stop your foot from sliding sideways off the sole a little. This is a slightly obscure issue though, and it doesn't come up much in day to day, only on rougher terrain like a hilly park. The other significant criticism I have is that they don't breathe very well. My feet get hot in any weather above room temperature, to the point where odour is a problem. I wear socks with these shoes even though they say you don't need to.
Sizing is decently accurate. I have slightly wide size 9.5 feet, and a size 10 fits quite well. The knitting has a good amount of give, so I wouldn't suggest going too large since you can always break in a slightly smaller size.”
“That’s on top of being waterproof, comfortable and stylish. After my taste, of course.
I wear them everywhere.
Everywhere except hiking. On an uneven terrain I don’t recommend any stretch fabric shoes no matter the brand.
That’s the only thing I have against them. Oh and the fact that they don’t make rain pants out of the same material as their shoes.”
