Hi Joseph,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We’re sorry to hear you’re finding your Vessis too tight. For some reference, however, it’s actually quite normal for the ankle opening to be a little snug to start. Over the first few wears of your new shoes, you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate your foot shape. By starting tighter, this allows the shoe to mold to your ankle shape - making sure no water seeps in through the ankle opening.
Some customers use a shoehorn in the meantime, which should help. You can also speed up the stretching process by leaving a few pairs of thick socks balled up inside the shoes overnight.
That said, I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our Product team, as we are always looking to improve. We'll use your insight towards our research and development for our future design improvements.
Thank you again for sharing your thoughts on your Vessis with us.
“They are incredibly comfortable and super easy to slip on and off which is always my favorite type of shoe. They laces make them look perfect with a pair of jeans or to make a pair of slack more comfy. The waterproof nature is perfect for these wet winters.”
“Purchased for teenage son since he was stealing his dads. Both my husband and myself own these and plan on ordering more in different styles. Extremely comfy and no more wet feet walking the dogs.”
