“First I been wearing Asics Gel-Venture 7 forever because its the only sneaker that did not kill my feet after 8 hours working retail but there still was some pain. Now when I received my pair of Vessi the first 4 to 5 days my feet hurt to the point of I was going to return them but the pain went away and now they are my go to sneaker. Not sure if feet broke into the sneaker or the sneakers to the feet but I will be buying again. Also the water proofing works great and its been a wet fall in Western NY.”

“I bought a pair of the Vessi Men's Weekend black on black. Settle in, this will be a tale, but I'm a real person, this is a real unsolicited review, and I am a very cynical purchaser of goods from the internet.
Our neighbours have beautiful farm land that has trails cut through the fields for walking. So naturally, I take my 2 corgis out to walk them every morning. We go 2-5 kms a day, and within the first 100 feet, my feet are soaked from the dew from the grass, especially in the autumn.
So I got some low cut rubber boots for 50 bucks at the local well known CANADIAN store that no one gets TIREd of. This will fix everything! Nope, the right foot leaked like a sieve, so back they went. Not only that, they were heavy and sweaty and just uncomfortable.
So on-line I go, and I find this Vessi site, and they are advertising shoes that are light, breathe, and are waterproof. I read a couple of reviews, took each review with a grain of salt, but decided to take the plunge and I ordered a pair.
Guess what! They worked!!!! Not only that, I've walked close to 50 kms in them now, and all they have done is become more comfortable. My feet are always dry at the end of our hikes, and now I plan to get a pair for my wife for her birthday. This is NOT BS, these shoes are great!!
They are a snug fit, but things get more comfortable as you break them in, I suggest you order a size up if you are a half size.
They are not cheap, but I think they are worth every penny!
The laces are kind of there for show, it is a clever design because there is no tongue, the structural integrity for the water proofing is not compromised. In reality, these are slip on type shoes.
I would like to come back in a year to update this review in terms of how well the shoe holds up to wear and tear, but so far, after a month, they are doing great!

“I bought these using Linus Tech Tip code for $25 off. I didn't realize this is a Canadian company when I ordered but I'm glad to say shipping was free and quick. The Weekend shoes are amazing. Light, comfortable, and water proof (although for $125 I wasn't going to try but sure they are).
I will definitely buy from them again and hopefully they will come out with more styles (I honestly didn't care the the regular shoes style but loved the Weekends).”
