“After a trip with my friend, I decided to order a pair as while my shoes got soaked in the rain, hers were completely dry due to the Vessi Weekend sneakers. I live in California so we don't get a lot of rain but there are some days where my shoes get wet from occasional rain and puddles. I was recommended the men's size as it's a bit wider. I am a women's size 9 so I ordered a men's size 8. There's bit of space at front but wide enough so I decided to keep it. These shoes have saved me from a NY trip this past weekend as it was raining nonstop for 2 days and I had to walk everywhere! I was a bit skeptical that these would keep my feet completely dry but it sure did! I was surprised and impressed. I hate walking in the rain AND getting my feet wet. These were comfortable and had no problems walking all day with my arthritis. My only small gripe about the shoe is the front part (where the laces are) digs into the front side of my ankle. It was rubbing while walking, so end of the day, it hurt a bit. Maybe I just need to break into it? Other than that, I have no complaints. I have already recommended these shoes to my family friends who have plans travelling to wet areas/weather. I now want to explore other styles of Vessi!”
“Aside from the obvious benefit of vessi, this Weekend is more like a regular sneaker than the other vessi which feels like a tight sock. I've loosened the lace so I can put it on without my hands, but often times I'll still need to adjust it due to the heel catching on the back of the shoe. If this can be improved then will surely make this the best shoe ever. I swap between this (black) shoe for work, and my grey one for other times.”
