“Ive had these for weeks now and they are still very comfortable and very water proof easy to clean. I want to take care of them so they last longer tho. i think running in the often will wear them out”
“I bought my Vessi Women's Weekend - Asphalt Black on Black shoes specifically because I will be travelling this summer and want NOT to have wet feet in Ireland or Germany if it's rainy. I am very pleased with the shoes.
I was slightly surprised by the fact that there is no separate tongue for the shoes; the upper is one piece (which I realized quickly is HOW they can be waterproof!), and so my foot has to fit through JUST the hole at the ankle. The fabric upper is SO stretchy that **even though** I wear ankle braces on both ankles, I was able to get the Vessis on easily, *and* the fabric springs back without getting or staying stretched out.
The laces are for tightening, but they lie on top of the solid upper, and I've decided only to tug on them slightly in order to make less work for taking the shoes off and on. As such, I was concerned that the fairly roomy toe box would bother me; I usually don't like my (fairly narrow) feet to "slop" in my shoes. This did not happen, however, and I felt stable in the shoes. They also have very flexible soles, instead of the rigidity I feared when I saw the thickness of the sole. I can move through all the parts of my feet well in these.
My only slight disappointment is that the Vessis are not *as* well cushioned as I would prefer, but that is fair of a pair of shoes that are *not* a running shoe; a non-running shoe will not have the padding of a running shoe, and I may add a thin, gel insole to improve the cushioning.
I am very satisfied with these shoes, and, as my feet get very smelly with enclosed shoes such as these, I'm very happy to know that I can wash and then air dry them for odor control.
Because I usually wear a 9 1/2 in tennis shoes, I ordered a size 10 (also...socks, ankle braces...), but it was massively too large. The process for returning the size 10 shoes for a size 9 was VERY easy and smooth, and I was impressed with the ease of the process.”

“I ordered a US Woman's 9, but a bit loose. Not too bad but an 8 would've been too tight. Half sizes would be good. They are comfortable though. I live in New England in the US, can't wait to weather test them.”

My they are comfortable (this is coming from someone that has chronic plantar fasciitis), lightweight, easy to clean, keep my feet dry, and protect me feet from the germs that may be spread while delivering care to those in need!
