“These were my second pair of vessis. Between my mom and I we have 6 pairs of vessis. My mom and I have had the same issue with our light/white colored vessis.
Pros:
-True to size
-Great colors
-Love the rubber for the lace holes and back tab
-Comfy for people on their feet all day
-Wore all around Scotland for 1 week (5-10miles/day). Worked great for keeping feet dry from the many many puddles
-Wear for work as a teacher, very comfy
-Machine wash easily, most spots come out, magic eraser helps too.
-Easy on/off for airport security
-Has a bit of light compression which is helpful for swelling feet from walking all day.
Cons:
-Light colored Vessi shoes get dirty SUPER quickly. More so than any other white/light shoes I have. Literally the first time I wore them they got dirty from simply walking across the street and in a building.
-Not great for long distance walking on rough terrain (cobblestones, gravel, etc) Brought two of my vessis to Scotland as my 2 pairs of shoes for the 1 week trip. regretted it because of the roughy terrain. Shoes would be great if your traveling in a place with paved and even roads but not for uneven pavement. Soles are simply not thick enough to handle that. If I had to do it over again I’d bring one pair of vessis for lighter walking/shopping days and a pair of running shoes or something with a thicker sole for the other pair.
Soooo… if you don’t mine washing them every few wears these are great for you. If not then I recommend going with any of the darker colors. Vessis are great shoes and very comfortable. They’re a great shoe for regular walking and working.”
