“I bought them because I walk to work every day and need sturdy comfortable shoes to do that. After destroying yet another cheap pair of shoes in under 3 months, I thought I'd give Vessi a try.
I've had them for almost a month, walked through the most terrible weather conditions a Hokkaido spring/summer has to offer, and they still feel like new. They are dirty as all hell, but there's no indication of wear yet. They are super comfortable and are indeed waterproof.

“I love the look of the shoe (as do my friends). I purchased them as a "dressy" sneaker, and they work well for that. The waterproof quality is awesome. I only have one complaint, and that is with the sole. I'm used to and prefer minimalist style soles. I have found that they feel better over the course of a day of standing and walking. These shoes are comfortable, but a long period of wear can cause some soreness. I suspect this will get also get better with wear. In an ideal world, a minimalist sole option would be a dream with these.”
“Shoes are very comfortable from the first time I put them on. I like that they have some stretch which makes them easy to pull on. Waterproofing is fantastic, no more worries about soggy socks. My only complaint which is minor is my feet tend to feel a little warmer than I would like after a long day on my feet.”
