“The best time to review shoes is after you've worn holes in them. However, since Vessi probably would prefer one a bit sooner, here's my take after a few weeks. The shoes are comfortable and sturdy, while still being flexible enough to avoid that awkward breaking-in period. They slip on easily, but hug enough to keep my stride steady.
It's going to start raining soon where I live, so we'll see how well they hold up to puddles. If they somehow fail me in that respect, I will be sure to fumble around and try to find a way to edit this review. Until then, these shoes have earned their stars!”

“I’ve now worn them in Iceland. The soles are really comfortable. I didn’t splash through puddles in them but I was in light rain. I got size 9, my size in professional shoes, on the understanding that these run large. After wearing them indoors for a while I suspected a full day in them would hurt. I got the size 10, which is frequently my size in athletic shoes, and they are a better fit. The exchange was as painless as an exchange can be although after several days of them not being shipped yet I got nervous that the new size wouldn’t arrive in time for the trip. They look good with my black jeans.”
“These shoes are awesome at keeping your feet dry, but after a full day of wearing them and walking around my feet are always killing me. They're definitely the most waterproof shoes I own, but they aren't the most comfortable. They're awesome for traveling, but not the best for all day adventures.”
“I was dubious about these before I got them. I expected them to be too hot and kinda weird looking, but I am happy to say that I was wrong. These are now a go-to shoe for grey days around Seattle. Excellent scooting around town shoes and excellent for dog walks requiring wet grass transits. Also excellent shoes for boating. Super happy that I took the leap!”
