“I have several different pairs of Vessi shoes and these are my favorite not only because they are functional, but because they are equally stylish as well. They are more casual looking versus athletic. I love the grey as it is a neutral color that can go with anything. I do not like to write a review until I have had a product for a duration of time for it to prove its durability and functionality...which this has! I have had these shoes for approximately 2 yrs. They perform excellent in the snowy Michigan winters! My feet always stay dry! I recently took a trip to the Redwood National Park and California State Parks. I did most of the trails wearing these shoes. The Fern Canyon Loop Trail (where parts of Star Wars and Jurassic Park were filmed) is very wet and your feet are submerged in water during a large portion of the trail. When I completed the trail, all of the companions I was with had wet shoes, socks, and feet. Mine however were not, as these Vessi shoes kept my socks and feet completely dry! I highly recommend these shoes! They tend to run overall bigger than any of my other shoes. The only reason I rated the comfort a 4 out of 5 instead of a 5 out of 5 was due to the fact that my heel frequently slides out of the back of these shoes. This is not the shoes inadequacy, as it is a common problem for me due to my feet being normal size, but having narrow heels. As a person who travels frequently for both business and leisure, I always pack a pair or two of my Vessi shoes.
