“This was actually my first time buying shoes online; I always assumed trying to get the right fit would be annoying. The shoes fit perfectly and they are really comfortable. The white is, not surprisingly, getting dirty really quickly. But since I know they are washable, it doesn’t bother me. I’ll be getting a pair for my husband next!”
Thank you for sharing your experience, we're happy to hear you are enjoying your Vessis 😊 Our white styles do require a little extra TLC, but they can be cleaned easily! You can machine wash your Weekends, or you can also use a mild baby soap, or water based soap, a soft sponge for the knit and soft bristle toothbrush for the sole.

“I was waiting for the white weekenders to come in stock so I could order them. It took a while, but I finally got some.
I’m very pleased with the look, the fit and the feel of the shoes. They are very comfortable.
The only downside I am seeing is they are not easy to clean. Don’t get me wrong, I know I ordered white shoes, but they are tougher to clean than I was expecting. I wish now that I had gone with a different colour.”

“These shoes are incredibly comfortable and I wear them often on hikes, or walking around. However, I purchased the white color and they are not as easy as I thought they would be to keep it clean. They have reached the point that I could no longer clean them by wiping them down, so I put them in the wash as I read online was okay to do. When they came out part of the material had begun to separate from the rubber around the toes, so I don’t feel like it will be safe to wash them again. They are still great hiking and running shoes, but I don’t feel like they kept up the appearance of being shoes I would wear out to lunch or for something like that.”

We find that using a water-based soap or white toothpaste and a sponge can work wonders on the knit and hope this can work for you! “I figured that these would be at least somewhat resistant to stains and dirt, but they're fully not--they're just like any other pair of fabric sneakers in that regard. But what makes that even worse is that they're INCREDIBLY annoying to clean. Since they're waterproof, you have to get them fully soaked/submerged in order to even attempt at cleaning them (which in my experience didn't work very well, even with a powerful stain fighter), and they take AGES to dry out as a result. I just tried washing them over a day ago and they're still sopping wet. Not at all satisfied, honestly--even the fit of the shoes is quite loose and the customer service isn't very responsive when you reach out with issues or questions.”
