“These are very comfortable, and I wanted a fresh white look, but while fabric makes a lot of sense for comfort purposes, it has no ability to resist dirt. As a result, after two days of walking on city streets, somehow there were black marks all over the shoe.
This is like wearing white T-shirts on your feet.
I like my sneakers clean and fresh, so for me this is an issue. You'll have to clean these every week if you want to keep them white, and I do not want to clean sneakers every week. I also do not want to throw them in the washing machine because it takes forever for them to dry and I'm pretty sure that will destroy the sneakers very quickly.
If you're okay with sneakers that easily get dirty go with white, if the above issues are a concern, go with black and keep it simple and boring.
But I'll admit, these are VERY comfortable. I actually ordered a black pair. For white, I'd stick to leather that can easily be cleaned. I can recommend these, but only with the aforementioned caveats.
There is probably no way to keep the dirt off these due to the materials chosen.”
