“These shoes are incredibly comfortable and so stylish. I got them in the marble white color and I just love them. They do get dirty very easily, but I’ve cleaned them a few times with soap, water, and a very soft horsehair brush and they get pretty clean. I’m not sure they’re still 100% waterproof since I cleaned them, but they’re so comfortable that I still wear them all the time! I want to get another pair eventually, but maybe in a darker color! The white is so gorgeous though.”

We're so sorry to hear you are having a tough time keeping clean, but we'd be happy to share some cleaning tips! We find that the key is to clean our shoes sooner rather than later. The quicker you can rinse off dirt, the easier it will be to keep them nice and clean. We recommend using a sponge or light coloured cloth made with natural fibers, baking soda, and vinegar for the best results.

“I live in very rainy area so I specifically look for weatherproof shoes that are also stylish. I love the design and the functionality. I wish the shoes can keep clean better, though. To be honest, it was my fault to buy white shoes and asking for cleanliness, but the shoes got dirty so quick like within a couple of days, and I am so sad they look dirty....”

While Vessis are 100% waterproof they are unfortunately not stain-proof, so our lighter colours do require more regular care to keep clean. The best cleaning practices are found on the care card included in the box with your Vessis.
Another great tip to keep your Vessis looking as fresh as possible is to mix some baking soda and water to create a paste then slowly rubbing this paste onto the shoe can remove tough stains without causing damage to the waterproof membrane.
