“This is my eighth pair of Vessis. I always have a pair in rotation in various styles and this is my first time with the white. Excellent waterproofing, and consistently the comfiest brand of shoes that I own, but the white stayed white for less than a week. I put them in the washing machine twice and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've accepted that these are pretty much grey now, but I likely won't buy white again.”
“So I really wanted to like these as I live in Seattle and it's always moist here. I've had them for about 9 months now, got them for Christmas as my "special big gift" since they're kind of pricey... I got the white weekenders because they would have looked good slightly dressed up but still practical for every day and for traveling too. I am a perfect size 6.5 shoe. It recommends to size down so we got a size 6... this was a mistake. The shoes are so tight. They said they'd stretch out so I wore them and wore them and went beyond the 90 day return... and still trying to wear them and still no stretch. They fit great if I don't wear socks but I tried that one day I went to a concert in downtown Seattle and just walking from the train to the venue caused me to have blisters on my heel from the fit... so no socks is not going to work for these... also I got the white ones and they are washable but it didn't take long before they were no longer bright white. I've washed them by hand and also machine washed. The fabric just gets stuff "in" it and it doesn't wash out. So I'm disappointed in the shoes and my own choices. If I had to do it again (which I really can't justify spending another $125 on shoes) I'd probably get a size 7 and a dark color. Are they waterproof, yes absolutely... but not having half sizes and the white fabric being impossible to keep clean is why I'm deducting a star. I will have to try wearing them sock-less with a bandaid or something on my heel to see if I can salvage them for my everyday shoe.”
“So soft and comfortable! A bit snug on first wear, but quickly became my favourite pair of shoes. I've always had to "break in" new shoes or had spots that rub - these fit just like a sock and I LOVE the waterproof feature!!! Would recommend without hesitation.”
