I'm so sorry to hear that your Vessis didn't fit quite as you'd hoped. It’s actually quite normal for the ankle opening to be a little snug to start. Over the first few wears of your new shoes, you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate your foot shape.
By starting tighter, this allows the shoe to mold to your ankle shape - making sure no water seeps in through the ankle opening. Some customers use a shoehorn in the meantime, which should help. You can also speed up the stretching process by leaving a few pairs of thick socks balled up inside the shoes overnight.

“I am a half size, so I sized down and they fit perfectly. They are EXTREMELY comfortable and completely waterproof. The only downside and the reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, is because they get DIRTY very quickly (within the first hour of wearing them), and I can't get them clean by hand washing them on the go.”
