Here is the DL. I live in Vancouver where it rains 8 months of the year. The whole waterproof thing is not a myth. These shoes TOTALLY work. My socks remain dry and I use these as my everyday shoe, even when I travel. I also bike everywhere so they have withstood a significant amount of rain.
I wanted the white pair because they go with everything. They do get dirty very very easily, so keep that in mind. The white-ness doesn't las very long if that is a concern for you but then again, you can always clean them on a regular basis. - something I don't do.
The other thing to keep in mind is that after about 2 years of constant wearing in the rain, they lose their waterproofness. They are not waterproof for ever. My advice, if you really love these, get 2 pairs. Wear one for your every day dry day, and your second pair for ONLY rain days. That way you'll get more life out of them.”
