“When they say “dog walking shoe”, they sure mean it! Gone are the days when I’d have to worry about my dog dragging me through puddles or mud or snow. My vessis can handle it, and they’re so comfortable! A week after ordering and using mine, I’ve already bought another pair for myself and a pair for my husband.”

“Fell in love with this style and colour and was sooooooooo looking forward to their arrival! After checking back to the Vessi website...I noticed that a new "sizing note" had been added suggesting downsizing as they were fitting larger. OMG...after waiting months for the delivery, I had to send them back. Even worse...my size was sold out! Even worse yet...when another batch arrived...not even 10 hours later, they were sold out again. Unfortunately I had slept through the night and when checking my email in the morning and seeing the notification of restocking...immediately went to reorder and ...poof...they were sold-out again!!!! I've gotta say that trying to order this shoe has been THE most frustrating experience that I have EVER had. Hopefully I am able to get them in December (although I will be spending Christmas with my mom...I'll just have to keep my eye on the computer at ALL times...) Soooo frustrating! I will recommend but wish everyone luck in ordering!”

I've only had them a few days, but they are amazing. Can't wait to really put them to the test in Toronto winter
Pros:
- super comfortable
- actually waterproof!
- cute AF
- actually breathable
Cons:
- sizing (please make these in half sizes)
- shoelaces aren't water / weatherproof
- personally, i'm not a huge fan of the super thick sole (but I'm also a bit fan of barefoot shoes so this is very much a niche gripe)
I've always been intrigued by Vessi's, but wasn't a huge fan of the style. When I saw the new Weekend style I got super excited. Finally, a style that would let me justify the price since I need a new casual shoe. When they finally arrive (I was a pre-order - they actually shipped super fast once they were in stock!) I was thrilled to find that they are exactly as described. They're insanely comfortable from the outer material to the cushioned sole. They are also insanely lightweight for also being waterproof. That's awesome as I love minimal / one-bag travel and I can definitely see these quickly becoming my go-to shoes for that. And to top it all off, the waterproofing WORKS! I immediately ran a bunch of water over these and the insides stayed bone dry. Amazing.
Now for some cons. These are honestly more like nit-picks, but worth mentioning for future iterations! I really wish they offered half-sizes. Due to the style of this particular shoe, it's tough to get it right for everyone only offering whole sizes. While these fit just fine with socks (and I'm very much a sock person), I would have loved a half size smaller to accommodate warmer weather where I may not want to wear socks.
Aside from that, I did notice when I was running water over the shoes that the shoelaces aren't actually waterproof like the shoes. Not a deal-breaker, but I can see some issues if the shoelaces are soaked and flopping onto your socks where you could wind up getting wet anyway even if the shoe itself is waterproof.”

“I work as a Health Care Aide so these shoes are so nice because they are water proof, so light and comfortable for my feet which is very important as I have veracious veins and flat feet. I have convinced at a lot of my co workers to buy pairs aswell”
