Thank you for the review! Since Volt is not a dye, it gives you the flexibility to use It when you want and how much you want. Further, it does not require mixing, waiting or gloves. Also, because it is not a dye, it will not stain the beard and therefore will wear off over time depending on your skin type, length of your beard and normal rubbing (and this varies from person to person). Further, Volt is an amazing touch up in between dyes. So if you do decide to keep using Just For Men, we understand! Volt is a great product to use in between those dyes!! It might even get you a few extra days out of it. Nevertheless, you should be able to get about 35 applications out of a bottle (depending on the length of your beard of course). “First the packaging is fun, unwrapping the beard color is exciting, love to get new stuff and the packaging was just very cool. The color I used was chestnut and blended well, easy to put on and the color remover was Genius! I was able to easily wipe off the color off my skin. Downside, the bottle is just a bad design. It is oval shaped, the brush is attached to the top of the bottle like a mascara brush. Well... I started my first application, layed the bottle down because it cant stand on it's own. I was impressed right away. When I looked down, the color had poured out of the bottle because I layed it down. BUMMER! So I lost alot of the contents. I will order again, and recommend the product, but beware of the bottle design. Thumbs down... 4 stars because of bottle design.”
“It is easy to blend the color in to keep a bit of grey and yet cover a lot of it. I did not want to go from grey to sandy ash complete coverage in a day, so it allowed me to transition slowly so that most did not even notice that I was coloring at all. Good coverage. I have a longer beard so I may go thru more color, but that is to be expected from the info that I read on the website. It is very sticky for a few hours after application - so, apply it a few hours before you want to "go out". After those few hours, I comb and brush out my beard, and it feels almost normal again. (I have a course, curly beard, so it never feels soft, anyway.) The "sticky" is necessary for the color to stick to the hair, and like I said, it goes away fairly quickly.

Great feedback Scott. As far as the stickiness goes, as you mentioned, it should only last a little while before the color dries completely. This is what makes the product stick to the hair and last. I would recommend shaking the bottle really well before each application as this will make the formula more consistent. Sometimes, if the product is not shaken well it can get stickier than usual as the resins sit on top and the pigments are on the bottom. Thank you.
“I like the grey in my beard but I have some "thin" spots and a few "white" patches so VOLT blends those in nicely. The Ash Brown color looks natural and just makes my beard look more consistent and full--where it needs it.”
