“There is design flaw in the Murphy bed design which keeps it from functioning properly in the closed position. The mattress will slide behind the
so called “headboard” & get stuck so, you cannot open the bed. It was a frustrating experience to resolve the situation. My husband then added a piece of wood to increase the height of the “headboard”
to fix the design flaw. Yes, we used the proper mattress that was recommended by Wilding Beds.
One of their service representatives told us they have had several customers report the same issue. I would like to know why Wilding Beds continues to sell this bed design knowing there is a design flaw. There is also an easy remedy to fix the flaw, yet they continue to sell a product that doesn’t function as intended.
For $4000K it’s not worth the price!”
