These plastic-free, reusable menstrual pads are lovingly handmade in Bristol using organic cotton. Free from chemicals or harmful finishes, these pads are suitable for flow days and are approx 9" (similar to standard size disposable).
The top layer is organic cotton jersey, and the backing is absorbent 30% organic cotton and 70% bamboo fleece. These pads come in 3 absorbency options, sets can be mixed too.
Light – One layer of organic cotton absorbent material which can absorb 10 times its weight in under 2 seconds! One layer of the absorbent fabric is the equivalent of 6 layers of terry towel. It is hypo-allergenic and breathable, perfect for our pads.
Medium – One layer of organic cotton absorbent fabric with an extra waste piece in centre, and 1 layer of organic cotton and bamboo absorbent fleece.
Heavy – Two layers of absorbent fabric with an extra waste piece in the centre.
Using the extra middle pieces not only give you more protection, but also minimises fabric waste – win win!
All orders come with a care instruction card. Pads can be hand or machine washed, we recommend to rinse and/or soak in cold water before washing.
Top Tip! Where liners and pads with a snug fitting pair of underwear for best fit and comfort.
