I've taken the smaller one. It's 12 #s and I'm 5'7 and 140 lbs. It fits me perfectly. You WANT the blanket to be large enough to completely wrap the person using it. Do not buy a king size for 2 people. That size works much better for a large man. I was hesitant about poundage and size when I ordered it . “Deceptive description and picture. It is a weighted duvet and cover, not a blanket and a bonus duvet/cover as advertised. Marketing by its measurements is also not helpful, I bought the second largest and it does not fit a queen size bed. Although the ad. Says it will only fit the top of mattress with little to no hand-over, it does not tell you how stupid it will look.”
