“This will be my last purchase fro Wittner. So I wasn't caught short buying the wrong size (and living in NZ), I followed the video on how to choose the right size. I'm normally a size 41 but the video told me that I was actually bigger than a size 42! I thought that I better get the size 42 rather than the 41. I did and it arrived and they are too big! I found that there was actually one store in Auckland so I rang to ask if I could return the boots there and exchange for the right size. I was met with a snappy shop assistant who told me that they didn't have those in stock in my size in black and I'd have to send the back to Australia at my cost and sort it out that way and "that's the risk you take when you buy online". Terrible service. I contacted Wittner helpdesk explaining the above and wondered if I could return the boots to the store and reorder my right size online. It took 10 days to get a reply to that email! I was told exactly the same thing, that I had to return the huge box of boots at my cost back to Australia and have them exchanged. I wrote back asking for clarity (and saything the cost would be extensive for me to send the large box back) and have never had a reply. So needless to say that I have an expensive pair of boots sitting in a box, never worn and winter is practically over. This has left a bad taste in my mouth and I wouldn't recommend buying anything from Wittner online after my experience.”
