Most people would have preferred over 6 feet as they can picture that. I well remember doing the return school run from primary school when Helen was five. They were all so excited as the police had been to tell them how to keep safe and not go off with people. They had seen a film and they all knew the message - don’t go with strangers. I asked them what a stranger was and they all five replied “a man in a red car”. I think that proves my point and people’s vocabulary is limited to what they use day by day. Not our generation.”
