“Not as soft as I expected from the description. I am trying to find soft cotton dusters to replace my microfibres dusters which are causing so much damage to the environment. Please try and source soft cotton dusters comparable with the usual yellow dusters which but will wash better.”

They are far too nice to use as dusters, but they do a great job. They dont just move the dust about like the yellow cotton ones, they hold the dust really well.

Traditionally, railway Signalmen are issued with a duster of exactly this check pattern - it's a badge of office. There are numerous heritage steam railways around the country that would have a use for these dusters - possibly a new revenue stream? - and our usual source of supply have been out of stock for some time.”
