“Resolution of my device is much better than 0.005". Once I got it properly zero'd I was able to hit within +-0.001". Pretty easy to install on my Grizzly hybrid cabinet saw. After I got it zero'd I set the scale to 1.000" and made a rip cut. My digital calipers showed the piece to be 0.9995" wide. Since I have no long term experience, I don't know (or even expect) that kind of precision and accuracy will hold over the long term, but at any rate, it is much better than needed for woodworking equipment and is approaching that of DROs for machine tools like milling machines and engine lathes.”
