“All the safety features, fully waterproof & comfortable but ... very difficult to get in/out of, I don't know how long the pull up straps are going to last at maximum strain or how long the soles will stay on when using my boot remover, also at maximum strain for minutes at a time. The problem is the heel protector which no doubt is protective but causes the leather to bunch up around it when entering the boot and narrows the gap when removing. It needs to be full length rather than wrapping around the heel. So the jury's out, and excellent pair of boots in many respects but not perfect and I expect them to fail sometime in the next few months. Close but no cigar.”
“Clearly a really well made boot that should last a long time - but they are extremely hard to get on/off. The problem being in the in-step which is really tight and possibly made more difficult by the reinforced heel which bunches up. I've decided to keep them because they are comfortable when on and I hope they give over time. I can't go for a larger size because the heel is already lifting. No joke, it is a 5-10 minute operation to get them on, leaves me absolutely exhausted and the dog getting all over me thinking i'm having a heart attack or something! They come off with a wooden boot remover, also with trouble but notr too bad.”
